Silver Degree is an indigenous Arab Christian rap band that attempts to combine western and oriental musical motifs in their rap productions.

Made up of two young Palestinians, Bishara Kuttab, Manuel Abuali as well as Raja Abdel Malek. . In preparing their first album which took over three years to make, the band received very important support from guitarist and studio engineer Emad Salsa.

Silver Degree tries to recreate the path of the Christian message from the Holy Land. Starting from their Palestinian hometowns of Bethlehem and Jerusalem, these two artists are hoping that with their unique style of music they can rap their way to the uttermost parts of the world.

This rap band concentrates on contemporary problems facing the youth of today. Their music deals with social issues in a direct way with songs are an example of how they have approached this sensitive issue in a straight-forward conservative biblical approach.

Silver Degree talk about the struggles of the band in their home land, Palestine as well as their own spiritual journey. Songs like "Everything is going to be alright" is set on the background of the violence in the Middle East, the song gives a message of hope and optimism in the midst of the darkness that exists when their song was written.

'Second chance' an inward looking song deals with the situation all of us find ourselves when we have erred and ask the Almighty to give us a second chance.
